As Sohibyor Olimpour reports, pharmaceuticals are seen as a potentially lucrative area, although local capacity is severely limited.



The Tajik health ministry set up a joint venture with an Indian firm 14 years ago, but production never got under way. Now the ministry hopes to revive plans for a factory, this time with Egyptian investment.
