Iraq appears to be headed for a political deadlock that could lead to security problems and deepen sectarian rifts, say IWPR reporters Ali Kareem and Hemin H Lihony.
Residents of several [Iraqi] provinces told IWPR that political parties had resorted to handing out bribes including food, mobile phones or even government posts to win votes.
